During the implementation of the BIOART project, its participants prepared and published a book “Teaching and Subjects in Biomedical Engineering. This book incorporated the teaching and research experience of educators from 6 countries.

The Academy hosted an open lecture on "Digital processing of biomedical signals" on "Models, methods and algorithms for processing signals of the cardiovascular system." The discipline was developed as part of the BioArt project.

From August 30 to September 3, third-year students of CIT Nikita Malinovsky, Vladislav Altukhov and Alexei Dudnik took part in a summer school and competition as part of international student teams under the Erasmus + BioArt project. As mentors and technical specialists-consultants on the tasks of the competition, the event was also attended by the head of the CIT department, Ph.D. Oleksandr Tarasov and assistants of the CIT department: Andriy Kovalenko, Oleksandr Kasyanyuk and Mykita Eremin. The member of the international jury was Ph.D., prof. Alexey Sheremet.

In June, within the framework of the EU Erasmus + project "Innovative Multidisciplinary Curriculum in Artificial Implants for Bio-Engineering BSc / MSc Degrees" on the basis of VNTU a pilot training for students, staff, representatives of project partners in online conferences took place.

During the 2020-2021 academic year, teachers of the Department of Computer Information Technologies underwent advanced training by participating in trainings, online seminars, including with the support of the international educational project «Innovative Multidisciplinary Curriculum in Artificial Implants for Bio-Engineering BSc / MSc Degrees »(BIOART).

As part of the pilot training under the BioArt project, students of the Department of Computer Information Technology defended 12 bachelor's theses.

On June 2, 2021, the Donbass State Engineering Academy hosted an IT seminar "Innovations based on IT - from outsourcing to the development of competitive products and services" for IT entrepreneurs in Kramatorsk.

As part of the project "Sikorsky Challenge Startup School: Promoting Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship of Startups in Target Universities of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts", supported by the USAID Economic Support of Eastern Ukraine Project, at the Sikorsky Challenge Kramatorsk Startup School in February -May 2021, two groups of startups (43 people) were trained, who took the course "Fundamentals of Innovative Entrepreneurship and Startup Practice", as well as two groups of DSEA employees (12 people), who underwent advanced training in the course "Fundamentals of Small Innovative Business".

As part of the BioArt Erasmus + project, Kovalenko А., a lecturer at the CIT department, as a coach of the IT WAY robotics school team, together with the team visited the Ukrainian stage of the FIRST LEGO LIGA international competition, which took place in Kyiv.

As part of the pilot training under the BioArt project, master’s degree candidates of the Department of Computer Information Technology defended 7 dissertations. The works were devoted to various aspects of bioengineering and medicine using information technology.

Within the framework of the UN Program for the Restoration and Development of Peace and the Component "Local Self-Government and Reform for Decentralization of Power", training is provided for specialists of the Centers for Administrative Services.

From May 13 to 15, DSЕA teachers took part in the international scientific and technical conference "Prospects for the development of mechanical engineering and transport-2021", which was held at VNTU.

European partners of the academy under the BIOART program Peter Arras and David Luengo invited teachers of the academy from the departments of CIT, WUA, TM to join Ukrainian and foreign colleagues to write a book "Teaching and subjects on bio-medical engineering.

In March-April of this year, the DSEA hosted a competition for the best student research work (project, development) on interdisciplinary topics of the Erasmus + BioArt project. 27 student works from students of the departments of CIT, ESA, WUA and ISPR were submitted to the competition.

In the period from 12 to 23 April 2021, the Academy hosted the XLIII scientific and technical conference of scientific and pedagogical workers, doctoral students, graduate students, master’s degree candidates and students.

The V All-Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Conference "Modern Information Technologies, Automation and Electric Drive" was held on April 23-24 at the Donbas State Engineering Academy. The conference was organized on the initiative of the DSEA together with the public association "IT Cluster of Donetsk region" (IT Cluster Donbass).

The COVID-19 pandemic has made significant adjustments to its annual action plans. Thus, the annual scientific and technical conference of scientific and pedagogical workers, doctoral students, graduate students, master’s degree candidates and students was held remotely in November instead of April.

The open conference of IT-developers ITConnect-2021, which is determined at the regional level, took place on April 22. It was usually held at our Academy, but due to the pandemic it was held online for the first time.

In the modern educational scientific space, in which there is a revolutionary change and expansion of the arsenal of technologies for the presentation and transmission of scientific and educational data, recently gaining momentum a new lecture genre - Video Lecture.

From January 18 to February 4, 2021 teachers of the Department of Computer Information Technologies Vasilieva L.V. and Hetman I.A., working within the BioART project, visited (remotely) the 1st International Academy of Soft Skills for researchers, academic and administrative staff.

At the end of the year, a memorandum was signed between the Donbas State Engineering Academy and CAD Information Technologies LLC, a supplier and integrator of engineering software in the field of engineering and design engineering. As a result, our Academy joined the Dassault Systèmes campaign initiative and received 2,000 SolidWorks-2021 licenses.

With the support of an international educational project «Innovative Multidisciplinary Curriculum in Artificial Implants for Bio-Engineering BSc / MSc Degrees» (BIOART, registration number 586114-EPP-1-2017-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) lectures were given by scientists from partner universities.

Thus, applicants for the specialty "122 Computer Science" will continue to be able to study in the program, the focus of which is to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities that provide a more secure position for graduates in the labor market, through the application of computer science to real tasks and urgent needs of production and medical services..

The availability of modern equipment helps to better teach students, including the completion of theses. Student research works are performed at a decent level and are successfully defended at international competitions.

On November 27, an online monitoring of the BIOART project was conducted. The use of the online format allowed to attract representatives of all partner universities.

Virtual reality is a new concept of using computers and human-machine interface to create the effect of a three-dimensional environment in which the user interacts with virtual objects in an interactive mode, while creating a strong sense of three-dimensional presence.

Among the equipment that the department received in the framework of the BioArt Erasmas + project, there are machines on which you can make parts of complex configuration from hard plastics and metals.

At the beginning of the academic year, a bioelectronics laboratory began its work at the DSEA on the basis of the Department of Computer Information Technologies. The creation of the laboratory became possible due to the participation of the department staff in the BioArt Erasmus + project.

On September 30, during the laboratory workshop on the subject "Computer Design Technologies", fourth-year students of the department СIT got acquainted with the design of the 3D printer and conducted a trial printing.

Lectureres of the Department of Computer Information Technologies met with first-year students to tell them about the participation of our Academy in international projects, including "Erasmus + BIOART", as well as opportunities to study under this program.

This year, CIT faculty members took part in a three-day webinar organized by the Hellenic International Relations Office of the Hellenic Mediterranean University from Greece and EVM, an SME from Spain.

On June 17, a skype conference was held between the participants of the Erasmus + BIOART project.

A webinar on the use of DS ABAQUS and QForm CAE systems for the training of medical specialists was held remotely at the CIT DSEA department. The event took place on April 30. Licensed software from Dassault Systemes - SIMULIA Academic Research Suite, a world leader in physical process modeling, was purchased with funding from the Erasmus + BIOART project. In addition, in 2017, the department CIT received a free license for a specialized SAE-system QForm.

On March 13, 2020, a master class was held at the Computer and Information Technology Department of the DSEA in order to learn operation of a 3D printer, purchased by funding from the “Bioart” project within the ERASMUS + program.

On March 4, 2020, a seminar was held for the first-year students of Computer Science (groups KN-19-1, KN-19-2, KN-19-1t). The seminar was conducted by the Head of Computer and Information Technology Department, Dr.Sci. Oleksandr Tarasov, and Associate Professors of the Computer and Information Technology Department I. Stashkevich and S. Hurkovska.

On February 20, 2020, at the meeting of the Methodological Council of the Academy, the Head of the Computer and Information Technology Department professor Dr. Oleksandr Tarasov made a presentation on “Methodolocal Measures for Assurance of Quality Traning of Students During the Pilot Training on ERASMUS + BIOART Project.

Within the Engineering Week project the DSEA departments invited the Kramatorsk Lyceum No. 4 "Success". School No. 4 became a lyceum recently. Its students began to participate in the city's science events, such as the Small Academy of Sciences DSEA. Not only to participate, but also to win prizes in the field of engineering.

Our Academy was visited by Kramatorsk schoolchildren to feel like real students. On November 22, they spent three pairs of 45 minutes each. The students visited the departments of Management, Computer Information Technology and Higher Mathematics.

Rector Viktor Kovalev, Head of Computer Information Technology Department Dr.Sci. Oleksandr Tarasov and СIT Professor Pavlo Sahaida took part in the planned activities, which took place November 3-7, at Sami Shamoon College of Engineering (SCE), Ashdod, Israel.

On November 12, 2019, at the Department of Computer Information Technologies of Donbass State Engineering Academy, together with the Scientific-Production Enterprise "UKRINTEH" (Kharkiv), a master-class was held on adjusting equipment and testing the mechanical properties of materials on a universal breaking machine.

Following the training in Austria and Belgium, a seminar for students and lecturers of FMAIT was held on October 15, 2019 as part of the international project ERASMUS + BIOART.

On the eve of the International Woman's Day, CSR Ukraine, expert organization “Development Center”, in partnership with UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, under the “STEM Girls” Initiative, organized National Woman's Day in STEM on October 8 (STEM is Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

From September 2 to 6, a training course at KU Leuven campus De Nayer, Sint Katelijne Waver, Belgium, took place as part of the international project ERASMUS + “BIOART”. The DSEA delegation was represented by the Head CIT departments, Dr. Oleksandr Tarasov, Associate Professors of CIT Liudmyla Vasylieva and Eduard Hrybkov.

On June 25, a seminar for specialists of the departments of technical control, adjustment and diagnostics, non-destructive control, mechanical, metallographic and chemical laboratories was held at the Engineering Academy together with the Scientific-Production Enterprise "UKRINTEKH" (Kharkiv), as well as with specialists in quality control of materials.

The DSEA provides work on creation and introduction of new educational and professional programs of students’ training in the field of implementation of information technologies in the medical field. This work on the Erasmus + "BIOART" project is carried out by the departments of CIT, APP and KMSIT. Within the frameworks of variational training students study a number of disciplines from medical field, carry out the theses.

Based on the materials received during the training, held in Austria, within the framework of the international project ERASMUS + BIOART, a seminar was held on June 25, 2019 for students and lecturer of the FAMIT.

Delegates of the Computer and Information Technology Department of the DSEA attended a training on modern technologies of regenerative medicine, which took place on June 3-7 in Krems and Wr. Neustadt (Austria) in the framework of the international ERASMUS + BIOART Project.

On June 15, the SmartPicnic IT Developers Open Conference on Implementation of E-Government Management and the RoboSmart Dn.Ua Robotics Children's Robotics Children's Regional Festival for Slavonic, Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Dobropilsk and Toryak Schools took place in Slavyansk.

On April 18, 2019, the IT developers open conference considered a number of issues of modern approaches in software development, the experience of professionals in the field of IT, features of cooperation in international programs based on the experience of leading experts of the region.

On April 18-20, 2019 the Computer and information technology department Department held the Third All-Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Conference "Modern Information Technologies, Automation and Electric Drive". Prof. Aleksandr Tarasov, Head of the Computer and information technology department, made presentations about the current tendencies of IT industry development. The lecturers of the department also made reports: Associate Professor Aleksandr Abdulov, Associate Professor Ludmila Vasilyeva, Senior Lecturer Denis Mikheyenko and other.

On March 14, 2019, a training seminar was held at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Madrid, Spain) on the Erasmus + BIOART project. The seminar was attended by teachers of the departments of the Faculty of machine automation and information technology.

From 28 January to 1 February, a training course was held at the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM), Madrid, Spain, as part of the international BIOART project. The DSEA delegation was represented by the Head of the Computer and information technology department, prof. Aleksandr Tarasov, Associate Professor of the Computer and information technology department, Lyudmila Vasilieva, Associate Professor Head of the Computer and information technology department, prof. Aleksandr Tarasov Eduard Gribkov.

Earlier this year, the Department of Computer Information Technologies, assisted by the staff of School 35, prepared and held an open computer lesson on "Perspectives and tendencies of development of modern information technologies" in the graduating classes.

On January 22, 2019, a seminar for students and lecturer of the FMAIT was held in the framework of the international project ERASMUS + BIOART.

In December 2018, an open lesson of computer science on "Perspectives and tendencies of development of modern information technologies" was held on the basis of the secondary school 3 with the support of the management and pedagogical staff of the school for the students of the 11th grade by the computer and information technology department.

The staff of the computer and information technology department took part in the Open Day on December 1, 2018 in the form of a quest. It was attended by future graduates of colleges, colleges, high schools of Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Druzhkovka and Toretsk.

On October 3-5, participants of the Erasmus + KA2 International Education Project 586114-EPP-1-2017-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP "An Innovative Multidisciplinary Curriculum for the Preparation of Bachelors and Masters in Artificial Implants for Bioengineering" participated in a number of events National Technical University (ZNTU). Representatives of eleven universities from Spain, Belgium, Austria, Poland, Ukraine and Israel, as well as the State Institution of the Institute of Spinal and Joint Pathology named M.I. Sitenko of NAMNU (Kharkiv, Ukraine) exchanged of experience in analyzing labor market requirements and the specificities of higher education legislation to develop a new curriculum.

On September 26, 2018, a training seminar was held at the Krakow Polytechnic University (Krakow, Poland) on the Erasmus + BIOART project.

At the end of June (25-29) 2018, within the framework of the BIOART international project Erasmus + ("Innovative multidisciplinary curriculum for the preparation of bachelors and masters in artificial implants for bioengineering" 586114-EPP-1-2017-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE- JP) received training at Krakow Technical University (Krakow). The DSEA delegation was represented by the Head of the Computer and information technology department, prof. Aleksandr Tarasov, Associate Professor of the Computer and information technology department Eduard Gribkov, Senior Lecturer of the Computer and information technology department Aleksandr Altukhov.

From the beginning of April 2018, the third year students of the departments of Computer and information technology and Manufacturing processes and automation engineering of the DSEA began to protect the practice reports.

On April 19, 2018, the IT - Connect-2018 conference was opened in the conference hall of the Donbass State Engineering Academy. Kramatorsk was visited by people who understand modern computer technology from all over the region.

Donbass State Engineering Academy is a participant of the Erasmus + 586114-EPP-1-2017-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP International Project "Innovative Multidisciplinary Curriculum for the Preparation of Bachelor's and Master's in Implant Implants for Bioengineering" (BIOART) in Ukraine, which received funding under the Erasmus + KA2 (Higher Education Capacity Building) program in 2017.
