Open lesson in School 3 on the prospects and development of modern information technologies
In December 2018, an open lesson of computer science on "Perspectives and tendencies of development of modern information technologies" was held on the basis of the secondary school 3 with the support of the management and pedagogical staff of the school for the students of the 11th grade by the computer and information technology department.
Presentations and visual materials were prepared for pupils, which showed the prospects for the development of the IT industry, as well as the place in this department of the computer and information technology department DSEA. Head of the department, prof. Aleksandr Tarasov and Associate Professor Aleksandr Abdulov acquainted the entrants with the modern industrial smart industries, the application of models for managing complex processes and the experience of leading companies on the example of SIEMENS. An important part of the presentations was the introduction of information technology students in the 4th Industrial Revolution and the Internet of Things (IoT), which is a network of physical objects with technologies to interact with one another.
The achievements of the students of the department in training and international projects were also demonstrated: demonstration of scientific developments, results of participation in competitions and competitions, etc. Assistant Andrey Kovalenko demonstrated to pupil developments in the use of virtual and augmented reality. An important place during the open lesson was the introduction of students to the educational and scientific development of the department in the participation in the Erasmus + "BIOART" project. Students were introduced to modern biomedical nanotechnologies for the diagnosis and treatment of serious diseases. The technologies of obtaining nanomaterials, their advantages over conventional materials and the possibilities of using them to create prostheses and implants for the recovery of lost body parts were also considered.
