DSEA Attends RoboSmart Dn.Ua Robotics Festival and SmartPicnic
On June 15, the SmartPicnic IT Developers Open Conference on Implementation of E-Government Management and the RoboSmart Dn.Ua Robotics Children's Robotics Children's Regional Festival for Slavonic, Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Dobropilsk and Toryak Schools took place in Slavyansk.
Students and teachers of the DSEA participated in the open conference as speakers and in the robotics festival as members of the jury, in particular representatives of the ISPR department were judges, among others, at one of the robotics competitions - robotics. The students and teachers of the Computer and Information Technology Department participated in the judging of the competitions of the remote slave and slalom for LEGO and Arduino robots. Teachers of the PTM department , together with representatives of the regional state administration, were technical experts for the presented school projects on robotics and automation tools.
On the territory of TopPlace co-working place "Crown Monopoly" for RoboSmart Dn.Ua participants were prepared the sites of the festival, where they were able to present their projects on robotics or automation tools, take part in workshops on robotics LEGO, try their hand at freely designing LEGO.
Participants from Slavyansk, Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Dobropil, Mariupol, Druzhkovka, Toretsk, Kiev, Drohobych and numerous delegations from cities of Odessa region, as well as from Estonia, gathered at the conference room for coworking. They discussed issues and listened to information about the experience of other countries, as well as Ukrainian cities, where such e-services were successfully implemented.
The first Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Yevhen Vilinskiy opened the conference and expressed his support for new technologies in city management and wished the participants new success.
International expert from Estonia Viktor Guzun shared very interesting information about the implementation of e-government in his country.
Participants were presented with UNDP-supported e-Government project activities in cities of Donetsk region and discussed the issue of e-Government and citizens and technology transformation cities and SmartCity strategy in pilot cities. The conference also discussed issues of interaction of representatives of local self-government bodies with the public.
SmartCity will allow city residents to receive services electronically from the government, which will reduce the corruption component and reduce the time spent on locals to obtain services. For example, email to your family doctor or school or kindergarten. And maybe the locals will be interested in using the electronic map of housing and communal problems of the city.
The head of the Computer and Information Technology Department Alexander Tarasov gave a presentation to IT business representatives from all over Ukraine on the prospects of developing curricula for the opening of new specialties and educational programs in bioengineering in cooperation with the European programs Erasmus + and BioArt.
The event was organized and conducted by the Kyiv Dialogue platform in conjunction with DonODA's Department of Investment-Innovation Development and External Relations with the support of USAID.
