ACADEMY’S LECTURERS VISITED ISRAEL'S UNIVERSITY AS A PART OF THE INTERNATIONAL ERASMUS + BIOART PROJECT

РRector Viktor Kovalev, Head of Computer Information Technology Department Dr.Sci. Oleksandr Tarasov and СIT Professor Pavlo Sahaida took part in the planned activities, which took place November 3-7, at Sami Shamoon College of Engineering, SCE https://en.sce.ac.il), Ashdod, Israel, within the framework of the Erasmus + project "Innovative Multidisciplinary Curriculum in Artificial Implants for Bio-Engineering BSc / MSc Degrees" ("Development an innovative interdisciplinary curriculum for intellectual implants for bachelors and masters" field of bioengineering / BIOART »). The main activities related to the exchange of experience and methodological developments between the project participants were carried out at SCE, Ashdod, Israel.

In addition, the staff of the DSEA participated in the Leonardo Da Vinci Legacy conference (“Leonardo Da Vinci Legacy” https://www.hit.ac.il/en/news/events/international_week_opening?fbclid=IwAR0957Pl7a5lSaFozvEzBrMHgohdwYt-DO76hksVgNSreeKTCGWC0ONUGpo), held at Holon Institute of Technologies (HIT) in Holon, Israel, during which they listened to a number of presentations by leading scientists in technology and design.

Victor Kovalev, as part of the delegation of the Rectors of the Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine, met with the HIT Rectorate and discussed urgent problems of international cooperation in the field of higher education.

In addition to the planned activities under the Erasmus + BIOART project, the staff of the DSEA participated in the discussion of the participants' reports. They also got acquainted with the technical and methodological achievements of Sami Shamun College, its equipment and directions of work of laboratories of bioengineering, biomechanics, microprocessor engineering in accordance with the objectives of the Project. There were established contacts with scientific and pedagogical staff on the implementation of hardware and software provided by the Erasmus + BIOART international project, exchanges with SCE professors on scientific and programmatic developments in production technologies for different directions.
